Illustrated Code is a web platform, available at the address https://illustratedcode.dev (the "Site").
This Site is published by Slashtype, a Simplified Joint Stock Company (SASU) with a capital of 1000 euros, having its registered office at 1 RUE DU GUESCLIN, 44000 NANTES, France and registered with the trade and companies register of Nantes under registration number 822065686, (hereinafter "the Publisher"). Slashtype reserves the right to suspend or refuse access by one or more Users to the Site.

The Publisher reserves certain Illustrated Code services for Users who have registered on the site, notably paid services. When registering, the User undertakes to provide valid and sincere information. In particular, the User undertakes to provide the Publisher with an email address so that the latter can communicate information to them.
Any information communicated by email from the Publisher to the User will be deemed to have been read by the latter.
Any user regularly registered on the Site may request the deletion of their customer account, and the Publisher undertakes to delete customer accounts for which it has received such a request.
Customer personal data is deleted after 36 months without the customer having logged in.
Distinctive signs, products, and educational content created by the Company, including its trademarks, photographs, designs, articles, images, videos, logos, drawings, diagrams, exercises, and computer applications, belong to Slashtype, which is the sole owner of all intellectual property rights relating thereto.
Any representation and/or reproduction and/or translation and/or partial or total exploitation of the content and Services offered by Illustrated Code, by any means whatsoever, without the prior written authorization of Slashtype, is strictly prohibited and may give rise to legal proceedings.

This data is provided by Users who voluntarily and expressly accept these Terms authorizing Slashtype to process, disclose, or transfer this data to any third party in order to enable (i) the User to fully enjoy the Services and features offered by the Site, (ii) prevent fraud, and/or (iii) for statistical purposes.
Personal data is stored by Slashtype for processing in connection with the use of the Services. They are kept for as long as necessary to provide the Services and features offered by the Site.
The User always remains the owner of the information concerning them that they transmit to Slashtype. They have, in accordance with French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 as amended on March 24, 2020, a right of access, rectification, and deletion of personal data concerning them, as well as the right to object to the communication of this data to third parties for legitimate reasons.

It is reminded that data published by Users and information shared by them can be captured and exploited by other Users or third parties. In this respect, Slashtype does not guarantee the respect of the property of this data, it is the User's responsibility to take all necessary measures to preserve the property of their data.
Slashtype does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Services, in particular, Slashtype's liability cannot be engaged in the event of interruption of access to the Platform due to maintenance operations, updates or technical improvements.
In any event, Slashtype shall not be liable under any circumstances for indirect or unforeseeable losses or damages to the User or any third party, including but not limited to any loss of profit, any unfortunate investment, inaccuracy or corruption of files or data, damage to image or business, loss of turnover or profit, loss of customers or loss of opportunity on any basis whatsoever.
Furthermore, Slashtype shall not be liable for any delay or non-performance of this Agreement justified by a force majeure event, as defined by the case law of French courts and tribunals.
Computer systems and files are binding between Slashtype and the User.
Thus, Slashtype may validly produce in the context of any procedure, for the purposes of proof, the data, files, programs, records, or other elements, received, sent, or kept by means of computer systems operated, on any digital or analog media, and may rely on them unless there is a manifest error.
The fact that any provision of the Agreement is or becomes illegal or unenforceable shall in no way affect the validity or enforceability of the other provisions of the Agreement.
The conclusion, interpretation, and validity of this Agreement are governed by French law, regardless of the User's country of origin or the country from which the User accesses Illustrated Code and notwithstanding the principles of conflict of laws.
In the event of a dispute regarding the validity, performance, or interpretation of this Agreement and brought before civil courts, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts to which exclusive jurisdiction is expressly attributed, even in the event of summary judgment or plurality of defendants.
The User is informed that they may in any case resort to conventional mediation or any alternative dispute resolution method (conciliation, for example) in the event of a dispute.
These general terms of use are concluded for an indefinite period, the User is required to comply with them from the beginning of their use of the Services.
